Mango curry was something new for me, it was little bit spicy but delicious, nice and quiet atmosphere, staffs were very friendly. Chocolate ice cream was very good!

Lanna Thai is probably the best Thai food I've had in Campbell/San Jose area! We ordered the Emerald Catfish curry and the Pumpkin curry with pork! The flavors were very well balanced and not bland. I also ordered the Lychee tea which had the perfect sweetness. The customer service was excellent. It was very fast and refills were given without having to ask. I am definitely going to frequent Lanna Thai.

I was craving Thai food and Lanna Thai was the perfect fix. We got beef salad and prawn pad thai. Though the beef is soft, the individual beef strands are still tough and the type to get stuck in your teeth. I really enjoyed it but my friend thought it was tough. The prawn pad thai was probably the highlight. The shrimp was juicy and big, while the toppings and noodles were perfect in texture and taste. The noodles were cooked well and very comforting. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and the restaurant has ambient, dim vibes that served as a comforting break from a busy sunny day. Some potential considerations: - Portion sizes are small for the cost. A $20 dish can potentially not be enough to satisfy one person. My party of two has a moderate to low appetite, and we finished food that totaled $45. However I think the average 2-party group will need to spend more. - Some foods are very sweet. For us, beef salad was very sweet. Consider asking the chef to use less sauce or sugar.
